Your Privacy Rights (California CCPA/CPRA and similar laws)

Contest collects only the personal information needed to run its contests. This page explains what we collect and the rights you can exercise.

What we collect

  • Identifiers: name, email address, US state, and (for age verification) date of birth.
  • Contest activity: entries (including the photos/videos you submit), votes, and rules acceptances.
  • Commercial information: purchases such as entry fees, vote bundles, and boosts (payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers).
  • Technical information used to prevent fraud: IP address, browser user-agent, and a device fingerprint hash.
  • For entrants and voters under 18: parent/guardian name, email, and consent records.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because there is no sale or sharing, no opt-out is required β€” but you may contact us at any time with questions.

Your rights

  • Right to know β€” request a copy of the personal information we hold about you (including your entries, votes, acceptances, and consent records).
  • Right to delete β€” request deletion of your personal information. Note: legally required records (rules acceptances, guardian consents, votes, and payment records) are retained under the legal-obligation exception.
  • Right to correct β€” ask us to fix inaccurate information on your account.
  • Right to non-discrimination β€” exercising these rights never affects your ability to participate.

How to submit a request

Email your request to christina@woofworld.com from the email address your account or votes use β€” that address is how we verify the request. You may also use an authorized agent; we will confirm the request with you directly before acting.

We acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (extendable once by a further 45 days where the law allows, with notice).
